Privacy Policy

The short version

BLOCLYFE is a browser game. Your game progress lives in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We don't require accounts, we don't collect email addresses, and we don't sell anything about you.

What stays on your device

  • Your save slots (character name, day count, stats, inventory, story flags)
  • Game settings (music/SFX preferences, tutorial dismissal)
  • Achievement unlock state

All of this lives in localStorage in your browser. Clearing your browser data deletes it. We never see it.

What we receive when you play online

BLOCLYFE has an optional online layer (Fight Club challenges, global leaderboard). When those features are active, your browser sends:

  • A randomly-generated device ID (not tied to anything personal)
  • Your character name (alphanumeric only, max 20 characters)
  • Public game stats (strength, charm, intelligence, net worth)
  • Your IP address — used only for rate-limiting and discarded after a minute

That data sits in memory on our serverless function and gets wiped automatically when traffic slows. No long-term database of player records.

Analytics & ads

We may run basic, privacy-respecting analytics (page views, country, referrer) to know whether anyone is playing. If we do, it will be disclosed here. We do not run third-party advertising trackers at the time of writing.

Cookies

We do not set any tracking cookies. The game uses localStorage for save data, which is technically "essential storage" under most privacy frameworks (without it, the game can't save your progress).

Your rights

Since we don't hold a long-term database tied to you, there's little to request. You can wipe everything we've ever seen by clearing your browser storage for this site. For any other request, email giancarlo@blazendary.com.

Children

BLOCLYFE depicts simulated gambling, crime, and violence. It is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
